Drone Repair Services
DJI, Autel, Skydio, and other drone brand repair. Crash damage, gimbal, motors, GPS, and water damage. Same-day repair for most issues.
Why Drone Pilots Choose Us
Crashed your drone? Most repair options are bad. Send it back to DJI and wait three weeks. Find a national mail-in service and wait two weeks plus shipping fees. Most local repair shops in Albuquerque don’t touch drones at all.
We do. We’ve been repairing drones in Albuquerque since 2016, including crashed DJI Mavics, Phantom series with motor failures, and water-damaged drones from real estate shoots gone wrong.
Three things set our drone repair work apart:
- Same-day repair for most issues: Crashed propellers, motor swaps, gimbal calibration, and minor crash damage are usually finished the same day.
- Board-level drone repair: Drone main boards have flight controllers, GPS modules, and power management ICs that can fail. We do component-level repair on these, which most shops can't.
- Premium parts: OEM-grade replacement parts that match the original specifications, so your drone flies the way it did out of the box.

Drone Repairs We Handle
Whether your drone crashed, won’t power on, has gimbal issues, or has a damaged camera, the issue almost always falls into one of these categories. Walk in for a free diagnostic.

The most common drone repair we do. Cracked frames, broken arms, damaged landing gear, snapped propellers, and bent motors from impact. We disassemble the drone, replace damaged structural parts, and recalibrate everything before testing.

Shaky footage, blurry video, gimbal that won't level, or camera that won't respond. The gimbal is the most delicate part of any drone and the first to break in a crash. We repair gimbal motors, replace ribbon cables, and recalibrate the system. For damaged camera modules, we replace them with OEM-grade parts.

Motors that don't spin, spin unevenly, or sound rough usually need replacement. Propellers that are bent, cracked, or chipped affect flight stability and need to be replaced. We replace motors and propellers on every brand we service.

Batteries that won't charge, don't last as long, or are physically swollen. Drone batteries should never be used when swollen, that's a fire risk. We replace batteries with OEM-grade replacements and dispose of the old ones safely.

GPS errors, compass calibration failures, drones that drift in flight, or erratic behavior. We diagnose flight controller and GPS module issues and repair or replace what's needed.

Drones that crashed in water, were caught in rain, or were spilled on. Don't try to power them on, that often makes things worse. Bring it in fast. We open the drone, clean the components, address any board-level corrosion, and test before returning. Water damage success depends on how fast you bring it in.

Drone charging ports break from heavy use. We replace them in shop.

Drone main boards have flight controllers, ESCs (electronic speed controllers), GPS modules, and power management chips. When any of these fail, the repair is board-level. We do micro-soldering work that most repair shops can't.

After any repair, drones need to be recalibrated for IMU, compass, and gimbal. We do this as part of every repair to make sure your drone flies straight before you leave.

Before a big shoot or flight, you can bring your drone in for a pre-flight inspection. We check motors, propellers, battery health, gimbal calibration, and GPS function. Catches problems before they become crashes.

Tablets that won’t charge unless you wiggle the cable, charge slowly, or only work at a certain angle usually have a damaged or dirty USB-C or proprietary charging port. Cleaning sometimes fixes it. Other times the port needs replacement.

Frequently Asked Drone Repair Questions
Do you really repair drones, or just say you do?
We repair them. Drones come into the shop daily, including DJI Mavics, Phantoms, Autel EVOs, and others. Crash damage, gimbal repair, motor replacements, water damage, and board-level work are all done in shop.
My DJI drone crashed. Is it worth repairing?
Usually yes. Most crashes damage specific components (propellers, motors, gimbal, camera), not the entire drone. We diagnose for free and tell you what’s worth fixing. If a repair would cost more than the drone is worth, we tell you that too.
Can you fix a water-damaged drone?
Often, yes. Water damage recovery depends on how fast you bring it in. Don’t try to power it on or charge it. Bring it to us as soon as possible.
Can you recover footage from a crashed drone?
In most cases, yes. The SD card usually survives even when the drone doesn’t. If the SD card itself is damaged, we attempt data recovery.
Do you use genuine DJI parts?
We use OEM-grade replacement parts that match the original specifications. For DJI repairs, that includes parts that are functionally equivalent to genuine DJI parts.
How long does drone crash repair take?
Most crash repairs are completed in 2 to 4 hours when parts are in stock. Major crashes with multiple component failures can take 1 to 2 days.
Do you offer mail-in drone repair?
Yes. Contact us first so we can verify parts availability for your specific drone and walk you through how to ship it safely.
Can you do a pre-flight inspection?
Yes. Before a big shoot or important flight, we can inspect your drone for issues that might cause a crash. Worth doing if you fly professionally.
My drone won't power on. Can you fix it?
Usually, yes. Could be the battery, the power management chip, or a board-level issue. We diagnose for free and tell you what’s wrong.
